Misuse of the name of reputable companies is one of the often repeated methods of fraudsters that try to lure private data, credit card details, payment details, account passwords, or directly a payment of “fictitious” service or goods from Internet users in this way.
This time, they misused the name of the VNET registrar and Tatra banka.
E-mails circulate on the Internet, providing information about a domain expiration, i.e. the end of the paid-for registration period. The phishing campaign requests a payment of € 11.99.
