October is month of cybersecurity. On this occasion, we are launching the fourth round of the Academy of virtual Slovakia under the title Successfully and safely.
We will bring you 7 short videos that will be published on a weekly basis during October on our Youtube channel of the Academy of Virtual Slovakia together with articles and a PDF crib on our website virtualno.sk. They will explain threats and pitfalls on the Internet in a simple way.
At the same time, they will describe many simple tricks and tips on how to increase the safety and security of PCs, mobile phones, or access to social networks and e-mails.
Technology and the Internet rule today’s world. We can no longer exist without mobile phones or computers at home, at work, during sports or entertainment. Smart devices monitor our health, but e.g. also catering.
And the whole thing is dominated by the Internet. In this network, devices transfer information and obtain data for proper functioning.
However, hackers who make a living by obtaining data, hacking accounts, stealing data and extortion know all this. The Internet black market turns over billions of euros because it uses, or rather abuses, ignorance, or low awareness of people about cyber security and securing their virtual identity.
The current series is primarily focused on security, because even attacks are increasingly sophisticated and difficult to distinguish from reality.
