For the last call for large projects, we set aside an amount of 150,000 EUR to be distributed among the approved projects. However, after closing the call, we were positively surprised by the number of applications received. Their total number was almost threefold compared to the last year’s call – as many as 144 projects requested support!
Our goal is to support the development of the Slovak virtual space, so we have decided to significantly increase funding in this call, thanks to which we will be able to support more projects.
The role of the SK-NIC Fund is to support good thoughts and ideas. However, the financial ceiling of 150,000 EUR made it possible to support only a small part of the large number of the projects received, where we believe there are many more good ideas. That is why we are happy and grateful to have made this change.
We are pleased to announce that we have doubled the amount allocated for the last call of the SK-NIC Fund, i.e. up to 300,000 EUR!
The support mechanism remains unchanged – the best projects will receive financial support from the SK-NIC Fund.
After the approval process is over, the list of approved projects can be found again on our website and also on the website of the Pontis Foundation, which is responsible for the process of collecting applications and evaluating the projects.
And that’s not all – you can look forward to another call in the autumn of this year!
