Following the entry of our new strategic investor, London-based CentralNic Group PLC, we’ve decided to continue our current promotional campaigns of favourable registration prices of .SK domain names.
In line with the strategy of our new investor, we want to support the development of the Slovak internet community.
Thanks to our first promotion, registrars can enjoy continued low prices, in which they register domains for their end-users. In the first year, registrars can now register a domain, on behalf of their clients, for single promotional price of 7 EUR excluding VAT. This represents a discount of 30 percent compared with standard prices.
Moreover, this promotional price is 65 percent lower than the standard price compared with a year ago. Registrars, who provide this service to their end-users, can now do so at approximately one third of the 2016 price.
‘Achieve 100, gain 100’ is another of the promotional campaigns, which rewards active registrars. For every 100 newly registered domains, registrars will receive an amount of 100 EUR back, exclusive of VAT.
Both of these promotional campaigns will continue until 31.12.2018. SK-NIC, together with our new strategic investor CentralNic, are discussing further ways to support the Slovak internet community, which will be rolled-out in 2018.
