The call of the SK-NIC Fund was interesting! Projects registration to SK-NIC 2022 Fund Call for Large Projects was closed on May, 31. The amount requested by the applicants exceeded the amount allocated for this call several times. This only confirms the need to continue to support projects that develop virtual Slovakia with various good ideas.
Since 2019, when the new mechanism of the SK-NIC Fund started, the fund has supported projects with a total amount of EUR 600,000. With this challenge, the amount increased to a beautiful 900,000 EUR.
Let us also recall that support already existed before the new project selection and approval mechanism. In this context, we are pleased that many supported projects are still active after many years (the first support was provided in 2008) and have found their place in our beautiful real and virtual Slovakia – e.g. Junior Internet competition, charity crowdfunding portal ludialudom.sk or testing of digital skills at schools IT Fitness Test.
For projects implemented from the SK-NIC Fund, we have created a special presentation space on the Virtualnô portal, where you can learn everything interesting about them.
