The next call for small projects of the SK-NIC Fund will be opened in September 2020.
The call will start on September 1, 2020 and end on October 15, 2020. We have allocated 100,000 EUR for this call! The possibility to apply for financial support for projects will be as simple as before.
Small projects within this call will be able to receive support in range of 2,500 EUR to 10,000 EUR per project.
The upcoming call covers these three topics:
- projects that effectively use information and communication technologies for education or projects educating about these technologies,
- projects supporting communities through ICT (i.e. improving the conditions of its functioning or improving the lives of its members),
- projects introducing artificial intelligence or machine learning.
In the last call, we noted a large number of projects that used information technology in the educational process or are directly focused on education about it. Therefore, we have decided to repeat this topic again. The first wave of COVID-19 brought a significant interest in the means of communication in fellowships, groups and communities, so we decided to actively include a topic that has such a social dimension. An unknown element for us will be the third topic, where we will look forward to its results.
The SK-NIC Fund in its current form started with the first call in 2019. Since then, we have provided almost 400,000 EUR!
