This is an important message concerning the contractual relations for the provision of registrar’s services.
Hereby, we would like to request that you to complete and sign the Annex to the Registrar Contract (available for download here) and to mail two printed and signed copies back to our address as soon as possible.
As this is a legally binding contractual document, it must be signed by the authorized representative and two master copies should be delivered in paper format to us (along with possibly needed documentation of authorization) at latest one day before GDPR enters into force, i.e. 24th of May, 2018.
Please be advised that due to requirements of GDPR, failure to sign this annex in time constitutes a violation of the Terms and Conditions and will result in your withdrawal from the Registrar Contract.
The new data protection law has required SK-NIC to change the Terms and Conditions for registration of .sk domains. These changes have been subject to the public comment period, to which all registrars were invited to participate.
The proposed Terms and Conditions for registration of .sk top-level domain, compliant with GDPR, were approved on April 10th, 2018 by the Committee for Administration of the .SK National Domain. The members of the Committee include representatives of the Slovak government, representatives of internet users, internet service providers as well as those of registrars.
