A domain as part of Slovakia’s digital identity
Behind every domain, there can be a business idea, an online store, a corporate website, a community project, or a personal website. A domain is an important part of one’s digital identity and serves as a signal to users that it is connected to Slovakia.
“Surpassing the 500,000-domain mark is a significant moment in the history of the Slovak internet.Behind this number, there are tens of thousands of stories, projects, organizations and people, buillding their identity in the digital space. It is also an opportunity to reflect on how far the Slovak internet has come since its start more than three decades ago,” stated Peter Bíro, CEO of SK-NIC, a.s.
