The silhouette of Spis Castle in the background, with the outlines of the High Tatras, is one of the hallmarks of Slovakia. From time immemorial, the castle has been looking upon the trade routes connecting all corners of the world. Today, on the contrary, people look at the castle when traveling between Spis and Saris.
We visited this majestic castle, sitting 200 meters above the surrounding countryside – really and virtually. Fencing master Peter Koza once again became our fine and well-founded guide to the castle. And what did we learn? Come and find it out with us!
