As of December 31, 2020, Slovak Telekom will stop providing the services of free e-mail boxes. Domains such as “stonline.sk” or “t-zones.sk” will no longer be used for this purpose.
Originally, they were supposed to be available to clients only until November 30, 2020, but according to our information, the operator is extending access to mailboxes until December 31, 2020. Users thus have one more month to set up their own e-mail box, e.g. on their own domain, if they want to have a non-generic identity, and the subsequent transfer of important files and data from the original mailboxes.
The fact that from January 1, 2021 the service will be permanently canceled and the content of the mailboxes will be deleted still stays on. Afterwards, it will not be possible to recover the data in any way.
So don’t forget to forward all your important emails to your new inbox in time!
