SK-NIC, a.s. is pleased to announce the launch of the Academy of virtual Slovakia (Slovak only). It will contain series of educational videos in a popular style that are intended to accompany individuals as they enter the virtual world, a world that knows almost no borders and which has become even more important due to the current situation.
In the first cycle, those that interested can go through series of 10 short videos on topics such as identity in the virtual world, domains, web hosting, e-shop creation, internet marketing and communication or protection of one‘s know-how or brand in the virtual space.
Each video explains well-known and unknown terms and topics in a simple form. Additional information can be found on the supplementary website. And as we are in the virtual age, a brief summary is prepared for each topic in PDF format. It is possible to store it in your device and have it always at hand.
Everyone in Slovakia has potential to be active in the virtual world. It is almost borderless space and therefore there is no deficiency of opportunities. For those who really want to use this space, the Academy of virtual Slovakia should be their simple guide.
You don’t have to have prejudices, you have to try it and then just let your imagination, creativity and activity go fly. We prepared the videos and the subsequent processing of the topics with regard to the fact that not everyone is an IT expert. Therefore we chose pleasing and explanatory style. We have many examples as Slovak companies have often entered the virtual world and became successful, even leaders on a global scale. And as we are open, we welcome any reactions on what to do better or what was liked and at the same time we will be also happy if we can open the door to others via the Academy, especially to those who would otherwise not enter it.
Individual topics will be provided at approximately weekly intervals. This will enable those interested to gain a deeper understanding of already published topics and in the meantime to look for other information that will smoothly move them from virtual ignorance to active participation in the virtual world.
Those interested can watch the Academy of virtual Slovakia on the SK-NIC’s website.
