ICANN global partner of SK-NIC, brought you a webinar entitled: Identification Verification – Three Approaches.
From mid-October 2024, the second Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2) will require EU Member States to adopt and publish measures to accurately verify the identity of domain name registrants before a domain name registration.
In this webinar, hree different organizations provided insight into how they handle ID verification: One country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) operator (.ee); one professional ID verification provider (Truid) and one ccTLD Registrar (Loopia).
