As you may have noticed in the press, new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on May 25, 2018.
Hence, in 100 days, the most important change in data privacy regulation within EU in more than 20 years will take place.
This Regulation and its implementation affects the registration and administration of internet domains in Slovakia. It brings several obligations which must be fulfilled by each concerned entity.
Therefore, along with colleagues from our strategic partner – CentralNic Group PLC – we have prepared for a short overview of what GDPR will mean in the domain industry, with a focus on how it will impact you, a domain registrar.
